The past year brought many changes and many successes. The 2011 Uptown Holiday Celebration brought thousands of visitors to our participating businesses. The completion and ribbon cutting of a renovation project with street and sidewalk improvements has made our district brighter and more attractive. And the establishment of a Winter Farmer's Market has added another season to a most successful event.
In 2012 our focus will be to:
- Advocate for more parking with our newly formed Parking Committee
- Increase business through our new Member to Member discount program
- Continue educational workshops and forums to our members to aid in business development
- Continue to promote our unique Uptown Shopping district
- Provide assistance with events that bring visitors Uptown
- Provide more networking opportunities
- Continue to liaison with the City with issues that affect us each day
